NEWSLETTER: SPRING 2012 EDITION
Well, Spring is finally here. Or is it? It's been pretty cold lately. It's April 1 tomorrow and we're barely getting up to 5 degrees during the day. As they say I guess, in like a lamb, out like a lion. (I snapped this picture in mid-Marchwhile downtown with a friend visiting from Halifax. This was taken on one of our incredible 25 degree days.)

Nothing big to report this edition. There's a great new pizza place, Anthony's, that just opened up at the corner of Wellington and Parkdale (1218 Wellington St.). They use a wood stove and have an excellent ambiance. We have yet to try it, but friends of ours say it's amazing. Like seriously. As in, the best pizza they've ever had amazing. It's about time we've got some decent pizza in Hintonburg.


Ottawa, during Spring, is a great place to be. Everyone comes outdoors after three LONG months of hibernation (unless you're one of those crazy winter lovers!) and is ready to eat and party. Ottawa eating establishments are only too happy to oblige. Also on the menu for Spring, plenty of great foodie events and festivals. Follow us on Twitter to stay up to date.
